Now I'm convinced OpenAI will need to have a response to this. Grok's voice mode was the only good voice mode (Claude's…isn't) to support 3rd party connectors. Now it's going to be in Bot as well. ChatGPT Voice with connectors + bots at Dev Day?

ok everyone, i took one for the team here's the data we all wanted to see - real token value of each LLM subscription, empirically measured through usage on my real subscriptions - supergrok heavy has now become the highest value at $12k worth of tokens (40x ROI) - the $200 plan from openai and anthropic roughly give the same amount of token value, $7k give or take - cursor ultra's ROI is the lowest among mainstream subscriptions, roughly half of OAI or Ant. for individual consumers i'm afraid this no longer makes sense to purchase this was done in a clean environment. i ran each provider across 5 whole % points of my quota through repeated eval tasks in open source repos, and measured the total token value from all the agent sessions based on API pricing caveat 1 - this only measures their coding agent quota (which is the majority of the offered value), and does not include things like chat bot or grok bot caveat 2 - none of the providers commit to never changing this, so this is a snapshot of what the offering looks like today. i cannot guarantee it won't change again caveat 3 - the token value assumes you exhaust your subscription completely, which may not be realistic in real world usage

Here's how I'm running my $4M/year SaaS with a $260/month executive team of Grok Bots: Inbox Triage - is logged into my email, Facebook, X, LinkedIn. It ignores/closes all emails and DMs that don't need a reply from me. It opens an inbox item in Trello with a link to the email or DM if it needs a reply. Assistant - helps me plan my day and week schedule. Has access to my calendar. I chat back and forth to plan out fitting lunch, gym, meetings, handling my inbox, and "creative time" boxes into my day. COO - is logged into Intercom and Slack to give me a report on any customer requests or project deadlines slipping. Daily News - summary of news for each of my stock investments ($RIVN, $QXO, $FLUT, $CHTR, and $TINY.TO), the latest Reddit or social media thing going viral in my business niche which is Ubiquiti stuff. CMO - this one hasn't been useful tbh because I don't trust it to give it access to social media accounts, blog, or website and as a thought partner it's not very intelligent. It seems to me that Grok Bots are for actually doing things, Grok direct is still best for strategy and thinking through ideas. CISO - I put it in a group chat with all the other bots and they were given instructions on what not to do by the CISO bot for security purposes. CFO - I give it access to QuickBooks, ProfitWell, and our internal reporting dashboards then ask it questions and bounce ideas. They're all running around logged into my accounts via a web browser in the Grok Bot provided VM. Zero APIs or integration setups needed.

A very fun exercise is to export all your bank accounts (as CSV) both personal and business and stock broker And dump it all into Claude Code and ask it to make a little dashboard showing your spending It's hard to know how much you actually spend over lots of accounts so this can help you understand that You'll spend some time merging transactions (like company names change or their statement label changes), and categorizing, you can just do this by talking to Claude Code btw very easy, I also hooked it up to @xai Grok so it can use that to categorize mass transactions (very cheap) The best part isn't the dashboard it makes but that once you have all the data collected, you can ask Claude Code lots of questions directly about your finances and learn stuff, like I learned: - I was paying for some subscriptions for 2 years I forgot about ($$$) - My US stocks charge me withholding tax (30%) on dividends, which I knew but never realized how much $$$ it was (which is why non-US citizens should buy UCITS ETFs not US stocks!) - My pool remodeling was ridiculously expensive compared to the rest of the home remodeling and we got fleeced hard (that's life!), then the pool company caused a €9000 water leak that they won't pay (funny) - I spent $400K on domains over the years, I should probably stop spending money on them, it's an addiction @marckohlbrugge gave me and it's way more than my gf's shopping - My biggest monthly cost by far is AI at about $24K/month in GPU costs for Photo AI, but that's just how it is, I already got the cheapest rates possible, AI is pricey! - My 2nd biggest cost is taxes, who would have thought??? - Travel is quite expensive, flying business class, getting nice hotels and regularly traveling adds up a lot! - My business costs without AI (!) are extremely low, about $5K/month on revenue which is about 98% profit margin (!), with AI it goes up to $28K/mo or about 86% profit margin (still good!) - Lawyers become quite an expense in this part of my life, you buy a house you pay a lawyer and notary, you register trademarks for your business you pay a lawyer, but they're a great thing to spend money on I think because they protect you from losing much more money than they cost! - I started spending much more money since 2022 because of AI costs but also making much more money because of AI, so it's good - My spending has remained remarkably consistent as a percentage of my net worth at "just" 5%/year, which is close to FIRE which is always my goal (don't spend over 3%/year of your net worth), in my case it's different cause I actually have company income, so it's more of a fun goal to be responsible with my money - Around 2024 my life definitely switched from barely spending money and living as a digital nomad to buying a house and spending on that a lot, I knew a house was a money pit, but it's also a nice money pit and it helps me sleep better (great AC and bedroom), live healthier (home gym), and work better (coworking), so it's worth it - I barely have any personal subscriptions except Netflix, YouTube and Spotify, I asked it to built a "Recurring subscriptions" box too so I can see what subs I have and cancel them Try it!

I made myself a personalized podcast player using @grok 4.5 and @perplexity_ai Computer It finds the top topics people are discussing on tech and business podcasts, then lets me play a single stream across multiple podcasts by topic. When you click PLAY DEEP-LINK STREAM, it plays me all the pods talking about China and open source (in the screenshot here) it's called PODMEME (after Techmeme, which is what i modeled it off of!) Thanks @AravSrinivas @elonmusk for the harness and model! Cost me 1,100 "credits" on Perplexity -- so $11! Not sure what it will cost to run this every 48 hours... but, I think worth it. I might actually output a custom MP4 file for each topic with an audio transition in the middle
