tl;dr / cheat sheet / help
RDLTR is a web app to save stuff to read later.
Built out of frustration with Safari's Add to Reading List
Works everywhere. Favicons. Vim bindings. Passkeys.
Your links live at rdltr.app/{{username}}.
Global feed at rdltr.app shows links from everyone.
Pages are public by default. Private ones coming soon as paid feature.
Register
Visit any unclaimed page, e.g. rdltr.app/alice.
If available, click Register to create your account with a passkey.
Done. Your reading list is now live at that URL.
Save
The primary way to save links is via Apple Shortcut.
Install the Shortcut and update the headers with your username and token.
RDLTR appears in the Share sheet just like Add to Reading List.
Share from anywhere on iOS. Any app, any link.
Browser extensions in the works.
Build your own:
curl -X POST https://rdltr.app/api/link \
-H "Authorization: Bearer {{token}}" \
-H "X-Username: {{username}}" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"url": "https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8863"}'
Keys
Copy these into the Shortcut or your own script.
Your username is {{username}}.
Your token is {{token}}.
Read
Visit your profile. Sign in with your passkey. Start clearing.
Open a link, come back, it disappears. Or press x to mark as read.
Links are only marked as read on your own page.
