- Agent swarms and the new model economics
Cursor’s new agent swarm design builds SQLite in Rust with far higher success and far lower code size and cost than its earlier swarm.

Sonnet 5 is here. It's worse than Opus 4.8 on nearly every benchmark... Does that mean it's useless? Absolutely not. Use it with Claude Code Dynamic Workflows! 1. /model set to Sonnet 5 2. /effort set to Ultracode 3. Any complex task will kick off a dynamic workflow This will only become more powerful when Fable is back. You'll use Fable 5 as the superintelligent advisor and Sonnet 5 as the fast and efficient implementer.

This model is insane at design. I asked GLM 5.2 (left) and Opus 4.8 (right) to build me a landing page and you can't even tell the difference. GLM cost $0.06 while opus cost $0.49. More than 6x cheaper while being faster + more token efficient. Another win for open source AI.
