This is the big chance for Linux. The desktop is up for grabs in a way it hasn’t been in decades. The agents have made the OS malleable. So the Omacom Foundation is accelerating its spending goals. Everything raised this year will be spent over the next 3. https://omarchy.org/news/2026/09/omacom-foundation-accelerates-spending-goals/

The Omacom Foundation just made its first full-time hire! @kwilczynski is joining to lead our work on the Omarchy Kernel. This is exactly what the foundation was set up to do: pay great people to work on hard problems for the benefit of everyone. https://omarchy.org/news/2026/09/omacom-foundation-hires-krzysztof-wilczynski/
