Introducing Clairic, a new System One class of extraction models

kept by eddie oct 20

Cloudflare introduces Clairic, a fast, cheap System One extraction model for extracting, computing, estimating, and forecasting values from unstructured data.

Introducing Clef: our open-source decision models, and new RL fine-tuning platform
Cloudflare releases open-source decision models Clef and Clef-flash on Workers AI and introduces a reinforcement‑learning fine‑tuning platform for customizing them.

The Decision Model Gold Rush - by Swapnil Talekar
Jev’s rapid launch spurred a wave of decision‑model competitors, with benchmarks showing it offers 98% accuracy at $32 per million tasks, guiding selection criteria.

Jev’s Architecture Unmasked — archerhume
By probing Jev's API with 10k calls, the author infers Jev is a causal transformer (possibly sparse MoE) that reads shared state and outputs decision probabilities directly without text generation.

How Jev works: calibrated decision models
Jev is a low-latency decision model that scores options via LLM forward passes to output calibrated probabilities without text generation.
